Photoshop Quicktip, darken your sky with the gradient filter

If your sky is too light you can darken it in Photoshop. There are many ways to do this. Here is one way to to do it using a gradient filter.

1. Open the file

2. Make a copy of the background (Cmd or Ctrl J) and set the blend mode on Multiply (darken) or Linear burn.

3. Add a mask to the top layer and select the 'black to white' gradient.

4. Drag a line to lighten the background and remember

                   WHITE REVEALS, BLACK CONCEALS
